Gardening at School

At school, we are making a butterfly garden. Here, I helped my teacher plant a rose.

Then Ate Naomi showed me how to plant a Vietnam rose.

My teacher also asked me to add more black soil on some potted plants.

Then I got to do it on my own. I transferred the plant to a bigger pot and put some coconut husk. My teacher said the coconut husk would keep the soil moist and easier for the roots to grow.

After that, I added the rich black soil. Done.

My next task was watering the plants. I filled the sprinkler with rain water from the big jar.

Gardening is easy and fun.

I'll be catching butterflies soon!

Picnic Time!

Yesterday, as I was doing some reading, I came across with the word "picnic". I asked my teacher what it was. She said, "tomorrow we'll have one".

Today we had a picnic in the yard. And I learned that picnic is so much fun!

We hoped it wouldn't rain so it didn't. But it was too sunny so we had to use an umbrella.

We played games, ate fruits, drank lemon tea, and read books.

I'm all smile here with Ate Zoe because we're very happy.

We invited some friends to join us, too!

Now I look forward to our next picnic!

Break Time!

At school, I do not only learn my lessons but I also learn different games.

Here, I'm playing 'Guess Who' with Ate Zoe. I have to guess who is in Ate Zoe's picture by asking questions like "Are you a girl? Do you have long hair?" I have to ask many questions until I can name the person in her picture.

This is fun!

Learning How To Spell

Now that I learned how to read, my teacher and I are working on my spelling.

I love the book we are using. It's very colorful.

See how I got all answers correct?

Learning is really fun!

My Paper Dolls

At school, we learned how to make paper dolls.

Here, Ate Naomi showed us how to cut our dolls.

Now, I know how to do it myself! I made dresses, too. Here I'm making a bag for my doll.

See, our our finished work?

This is more fun and creative than playing with a barbie doll, right?

Learning About Animals

Last week, I learned that yarns come from the sheep wool. My teacher told me about it while we were making a sheep project.

We cut yarns and glued them on the sheep as pretend wool.

I chose pink yarns because pink is my favorite color.

Have you seen a pink sheep?

Today, I made more animal projects and learned more animal names.

What's your favorite animal? Mine is butterfly!

Eating Properly

One of the many things I learn from school is eating properly. My teacher told me not to be picky with food. i should eat what is served on the table. I should not eat junk foods so that I can eat more healthy foods.

These are some of the food I eat at school.
Fried rice with corn, green peas, carrots, and chicken sausage.

Spaghetti. My favorite!

School-made pizza!
Yummy!
